EVANGELICAL ITINERARY

8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS

DAY 1

Upon arrival to airport meet our representative and transfer to hotel in Tel Aviv for an overnight.

DAY 2
TEL AVIV – CAESAREA – MEGGIDO – MT. CARMEL – HAIFA

Breakfast at the hotel and depart to visit the old city of Jaffa old port of Israel. Drive along the city of Tel Aviv and continue by the coastal road, old Via Maris, towards Caesarea. Visit the old Roman city with the theater and the aqueduct. Continue to Meggido, the site that dominates the Valley of Jezreel (the Armageddon Bible). We will continue to the city of Hafia, and then we climb to Mujraka, to remember the prophet Elijah and the 450 Prophets of Baal. From there we enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of all the Galilee. Continue to the hotel in Galilee for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3
GALILEE – CAESAREA OF PHILIPE –TIBERIAS

After breakfast, we continue to Banias – Caesarean section of Philippi, where the main water sources of the Jordan River are. We continue to the Golan Heights to appreciate the old fortifications along the border with Syria. Afterwards, we arrive to Tiberias, city located at the banks of the Sea of Galilee to take a trip on a boat in the lake, witness of many important events in the public life of Jesus. Then we proceed on to Tabgha, where the miracle of the multiplication of the Loaves and the Fishes was performed. We continue to Capernaum to see the Ruins of the Town of Jesus. We visit the Mount of Beautitudes, site of the Sermon of the Mountain. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4
GALILEE – CANA – NAZARETH – VALLEY OF JORDAN – JERUSALEM

After breakfast, we depart to Yardenit. Begin the day with baptism and prayer in the waters of the Jordan River. We will continue then to Cana of Galilee to visit the city where the first miracle of Jesus took place with the possibility to renew the marriage vows in a ceremony. Proceed to Nazareth, city of the Annunciation. We continue our trip to Jerusalem through the Jordan River valley. We will have a panoramic view of the city of Jericho, the oldest city of world. We ascend to Jerusalem through Judean mountains and to have a triumphal entry to Jerusalem singing the Psalms of David. At arrival we will have the ceremony of the bread and wine and then we will continue e hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5
JERUSALEM

After breakfast, we depart to the Mount Olives to visit the place of the Ascension and the Pater Noster. We walked to the Dominus Flevit chapel up to the Garde of Gethsemane, where we will have time for cult and pray surrounded by the olive trees. We continue to Mount Tzion to visit the King David’s tomb and the Cenacle. We proceed to Jerusalem new city to to visit the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are displayed and the Model of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period. We continue to Yad Vashem Museum, the memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Back to the hotel for dinner an overnight.

DAY 6
JERUSALEM

After breakfast, we enter the Old City through the Jewish quarter, the Cardo and the Shuk (street bazars), to arrive to the Western Wall, the vestiges of the walls resting on Mount Moriah and one of the most sacred sites for Jewish tradition. We continue to the Praetorium where Pilate condemned Jesus. Our walk will leads us to the Via Dolorosa and the Garden Tomb, site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus. Time for pray and communion. In the afternoon, we continue to Bethlehem to see the church of the Nativity. We return to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7
JERUSALEM – DEAD SEA – QUMRAN – MASADA

After breakfast, we travel through the Judean desert to visit the caves of Qumran, place where Dead Sea Scrolls were founded. We continue to Masada, a fantastic fortress built in the time of King Herods, last fortress conquered by the Romans in the fight against the Zealots. We ascend/descend to the top of the fortress in a cablecar. Afterwards, we continue to the lowest place in the world to enjoy, if the weather allows, free time to take a bath in the mineral waters of the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem for farewell dinner with delivery of Diplomas and overnight.

DAY 8
TRANSFER TO AIRPORT

After breakfast at the hotel, if times allows it, we departure to Ben Gurion Airport for boarding formalities.
